About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate STNA - Resident Assistant to join our team for the night shift. In this role, you will provide direct care to residents, assisting them with daily living activities and ensuring their well-being in a safe and supportive environment. This position requires a commitment to resident-centered care and effective communication with residents, families, and team members.
Requirements
- Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant or CNA program and current certification in states where required.
- Previous experience in senior care or healthcare required.
- Compassion, patience, and a resident-centered approach.
- Strong communication, observation, and time-management skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks safely and provide support as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents according to their individualized plan of care.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, and mobility.
- Encourage resident independence and social interaction.
- Monitor residents’ physical and emotional well-being and report changes to supervisors.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and homelike environment.
- Support residents during meals, including set-up, assistance, and social engagement.
- Follow all safety, infection control, and privacy procedures.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
