About The Position

Regina Health Center is offering a brand new program for individuals seeking a new career in healthcare. This PAID STNA/CNA training program is designed for motivated, compassionate, and eager candidates who want to help others. The program provides FREE on-site training, covering 80 hours of instruction, and participants will be paid $16.00 per hour while in training. Upon successful completion of the classes, the hourly rate increases to $18.00, and after passing the state test and becoming certified, the pay will rise to $20.00 per hour, with the potential for employment at Regina Health Center. Nurse aides work under the supervision of a licensed nurse, providing essential daily care to residents, including assistance with dressing, eating, mobility, personal hygiene, and bathing.

Requirements

• Must be able to attend all Nurse Aide Training days from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday, October 12, 2026 – Friday, October 16, 2026, and Monday, October 18, 2026 – Friday, October 23, 2026.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic assistance with daily care needs for residents, including dressing, eating, mobility and ambulation, personal hygiene, and bathing.
• Work under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Attend all required Nurse Aide Training days and successfully complete the program.
• Pass state testing to become certified as an STNA/CNA in the State of Ohio.
