About The Position

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and well-organized kitchen so culinary operations can run smoothly. The role includes cleaning and sanitizing kitchen wares and equipment, managing dish-machine chemicals, maintaining supply and storage areas, and following hotel, health department, sanitation, and safety requirements. The position requires clear communication and a cooperative attitude while working with kitchen teammates.

Requirements

A minimum of one year of experience as a Dishwasher.
Ability to read and write in English.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.

Responsibilities

Use the correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces in accordance with OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
Set up and organize a workstation with designated supplies and equipment, report shortages to the supervisor, and replenish supplies throughout the shift.
Handle kitchen wares carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
Clean and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment according to departmental standards.
Maintain clean and organized supply and storage closets; remove trash, wipe shelves and counters, clean floors, and return misplaced items to the correct areas.
Report damages, maintenance problems, and safety hazards to the supervisor.
Follow all applicable Health Department, sanitation, and safety regulations.
Keep the kitchens clean and sanitary according to Stanly Ranch standards.
Use equipment carefully and clean it properly after each use.
Communicate clearly in the kitchen, including announcing when walking behind someone or carrying something hot or dangerous.
Maintain a good work attitude, work well with leaders and peers, be a team player, and respond constructively to criticism.
Maintain the chemicals in the dish machine and report to the manager on duty when new products need to be ordered.
