About The Position

This role is responsible for cleaning dishes, kitchen equipment, and utensils. The Steward/Dishwasher will maintain a clean and orderly kitchen environment, assist with stocking supplies, and ensure all equipment and work areas are kept to high standards of cleanliness and safety. Responsibilities include washing all china, glass, silverware, pots, and pans, as well as sweeping and mopping floors and transporting food and equipment throughout the venue.

1 years’ experience in a high volume kitchen area
Must be able to work long flexible hours
Must be able to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays.
Ability to stand, sit, use of hands to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision

Responsibilities

Clean dishes, kitchen, food preparation equipment, or utensils.
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand.
Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
Monitor stock levels, obtain supplies and equipment as requested per venue.
Ensures that assigned areas are kept clean and orderly.
Ensures that requisitions are delivered in a timely manner.
Assist with emptying pallets and stocking storeroom and side stations.
Set up and maintain a clean, neat and safe work area.
Wash all china, glass and silverware.
Clean all equipment, pots and pans.
Store all equipment in proper locations.
Sweep and mop all floors in the kitchen.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Transport food and equipment throughout venue.
