About The Position

As a Utility Steward, you help create memorable guest experiences by keeping kitchen and dining areas clean and service-ready. The role includes cleaning serviceware and cooking utensils, maintaining supplies and kitchen cleanliness, preparing serviceware for banquets and functions, mentoring new stewards, and following health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations. Work areas may include the Main Kitchen, Cityscape, Lobby, employee cafeteria, Banquets, Coffee Steward, and Garbage Porter.

Requirements

• Able to work an 8-hour shift walking and standing, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Able to bend, stoop, walk, and lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience working as a dishwasher, utility steward, or potwasher.

Responsibilities

• Clean chinaware, silverware, and cooking utensils; scrub pots and pans; and burnish silver.
• Monitor stock levels and keep supplies and equipment well stocked and organized.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, including mopping and trash removal.
• Prepare and set up clean serviceware for banquets and functions.
• Train and mentor new stewards.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
