About The Position

Complete Dental Care is hiring a part-time Sterilization Technician in Bellaire, Ohio. The role works with the practice team to provide clinical support, prepare patients for treatment, assist the hygienist or dentist in restorative procedures, and help maintain high standards of care and efficiency. The position also supports patient education and positive relationships with patients and coworkers.

The schedule is described as flexible day work, Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Complete Dental Care describes its workplace as welcoming and team-oriented, with support for employees’ professional growth.

Requirements

• Dental assisting certification or prior on-the-job training.
• Radiography/X-ray certification applicable to the state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate professionally.

Nice To Haves

• One to five years of experience is preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dental hygienist with preparing the room, seating patients, and documenting patient visits.
• Record and review patients’ health histories and make chart entries under the direction of the doctor or hygienist.
• Ensure that necessary forms and signatures are completed.
• Educate patients about their treatment plans and maintaining oral health.
• Build positive relationships with patients and team members in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate professionally, orally and in writing, with a service-oriented approach.
