About The Position
This position involves working in a sterile processing department with 16 Operating Rooms. The role requires proficiency in decontamination, low-temperature sterilization, and steam sterilization, as well as instrument assembly. The department is supported by a manager, supervisor, lead technicians, and an educator. Technology and equipment used include Censitrac EMR, STERIS Evolution sterilizer, Vpro x3, Sonics x2, Cart washers x2, Instrument washers x3, and Autoclaves x4 (including 1 small).
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 2 years of experience in acute care preferred; will consider ambulatory experience
- Proficiency in decontamination
- Low-temperature sterilization
- Steam sterilization
- Instrument assembly
