About The Position

The Sterile Processing Tech, Lead aids, promotes, and facilitates surgical instruments and equipment across all specialties. The role coordinates and monitors assigned activities within the central sterile processing department to support efficient operations. The lead serves as a liaison and departmental resource for other departments, precepts and mentors central sterile processing staff, and manages the vendor room and loaner tray program.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent required.
Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification required within a specified timeframe upon hire.
Demonstrated organization and communication skills.
Ability to anticipate instrument needs for scheduled cases.
Basic computer skills in a Windows environment.
Comfort operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
Personal presence characterized by honesty, integrity, and caring, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote Trinity Health’s philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values.

Nice To Haves

Two years of prior experience as a sterile processing technician or surgical technologist preferred.
