About The Position

MercyOne Dubuque is hiring a full-time Sterile Processing Tech, Lead. The role supports surgical instruments and equipment across all specialties and coordinates and monitors assigned activities within the central sterile processing department to ensure efficient operations. The lead serves as a departmental resource and liaison between central sterile processing and other departments, mentors and precepts central sterile processing staff, and manages the vendor room and loaner tray program. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week on rotating shifts.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent required.
Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification required within the specified timeframe upon hire.
Must demonstrate organizational and communication skills and be able to anticipate instrument needs for scheduled cases.
Must demonstrate basic computer skills in a Windows environment.
Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
Must possess honesty, integrity, and caring, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote Trinity Health’s philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values.

Nice To Haves

Two years of prior experience as a sterile processing technician or surgical technologist preferred.
