About The Position

FWI is building a team to deliver STEM outreach support services for the Air Force Research Laboratory's (AFRL) Next-Gen Outreach Office at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. As the STEM Outreach Specialist, you will support the full breadth of the Next-Gen Outreach Office's programs — developing curriculum, creating STEM content, troubleshooting equipment, filming videos, and helping ensure every initiative aligns with national STEM standards and AFRL's mission. Position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant specialized field OR minimum 5 years of functional area experience
Experience with tech devices, STEM equipment, and educational tools
Ability to write high school-level STEM curriculum aligned with national standards

Nice To Haves

Experience with video production and social media content creation preferred

Responsibilities

Coordinate with project managers to create, develop, and update classroom presentations aligned with STEM outreach priorities
Troubleshoot educational equipment; assemble and maintain STEM outreach materials used for projects and events
Create and film educational STEM videos to enhance social media presence
Write high school STEM curriculum and coordinate activities, videos, social media, photos, and marketing
Align all curriculum and content with National Math & Science Standards and AFRL critical technologies
Research cutting-edge STEM experiences and technology to enhance program offerings
Support evenings, weekends, and/or holiday events as required by the office schedule
