About The Position
We are seeking a part-time STEAM/Aviation After School Instructor to lead engaging classes for students in grades 3rd-8th. The instructor will be responsible for teaching aviation-focused STEAM concepts during after-school hours. Classes are held on Mondays from 3:40 PM to 4:40 PM at our Memphis, TN 38120 location. The compensation is $60 per hour of class.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in grades 3rd-8th.
- Knowledge of STEAM concepts, particularly in aviation.
- Ability to create and deliver engaging lesson plans.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Reliable and punctual for scheduled classes.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as an after-school instructor.
- Background in aviation or aerospace.
- Teaching certification.
