About The Position
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated STEAM After School Part Time Instructors to lead engaging classes for students in grades K-5. This role involves facilitating hands-on learning experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics from Monday to Friday, 3:15 pm to 4:15 pm. The program is set to begin on September 8th.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a K-5th grade setting.
- Knowledge and passion for STEAM subjects.
- Ability to manage a classroom and engage young learners.
- Reliable and punctual for scheduled class times.
- Must be available Monday to Friday from 3:15 pm to 4:15 pm.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as an after-school instructor.
- Background in education or a related STEAM field.
- Experience with curriculum development.
Responsibilities
- Lead and instruct students in STEAM subjects.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for K-5th grade.
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Facilitate hands-on activities and projects.
- Communicate with program coordinators regarding student progress and any issues.
