This position involves winding, taping, and insulating coils for stators used in motors and generators. The role requires preparing insulation, following specified methods and procedures, and utilizing hand and power tools. Daily and weekly TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) tasks must be completed accurately and consistently. The position operates under normal supervision and requires five thousand (5,000) hours of experience for proficient performance. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor within the same or lower salary grade. Upon completion of one thousand (1,000) hours of training on a CNC-driven machine in the Coil/Stator Manufacturing area, a Stator Winder Insulator B will be promoted to a Stator Winder Insulator A - Grade 4. Department/Cell crossover does not apply. Applicants must be a sole US citizen.
