Stator Winder Hookup - First Shift
About The Position
This role involves insulating, winding, and hooking up stators for motors and generators, following specified methods and procedures. The position requires the use of hand and power tools and operates under normal supervision. The job is located on-site in Mankato, MN, and is for the first shift, running Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Nidec is the world's leading comprehensive motor manufacturer, with a global presence and a wide range of products used in various industries. Requirements
- Six thousand (6,000) hours experience required to acquire basic skills.
- Vocational or high school graduate plus a formal training program or equivalent on-the-job training required to obtain sufficient knowledge of electrical and related mechanical principles, assembly applications, designs, materials, equipment, methods, and procedures.
- Must be a sole US citizen.
Responsibilities
- Insulate, wind and hook-up stators for motors and generators.
- Follow methods and procedures as outlined in specifications.
- Use hand and power tools as required.
- Performs other duties as designated by supervisor in the same salary grade or below.
