College Board LATAM exists to expand educational opportunity across the region and to make sure the decisions that shape students' futures rest on solid evidence. As part of the Research & Development (R&D) division, the Research & Measurement (R&M) team keeps our assessments scientifically rigorous, operationally sound, and true to that mission across Latin America. We work at the intersection of psychometrics, data science, and applied research, guiding how our assessments are designed, scored, analyzed, and continuously improved, holding our work to high standards of accuracy, reproducibility, and clear documentation. We partner closely with Test Development, Technology and Assessment Operations to keep high-quality assessment programs running across the region. Together, we advance CB LATAM's mission of connecting students to college success and career opportunity, leading the initiatives that integrate our data analytic cycles more seamlessly and turn them into insights students and educators can trust and act on. As our Statistical Data Analyst, you are a strong, curious data professional, ready to put proven skills in data wrangling, analysis, and visualization to work on problems that genuinely matter. This role is a strong fit for someone ready to bring and expand transferable data skills into a new domain, and to apply them with confidence from day one. You make sure the data behind every score is sound, the analysis holds up to scrutiny, and the results students and educators depend on are ones they can believe in. You will be a hands-on, technical contributor to the Research & Measurement team, responsible for the statistical analysis, data management, quality control, and documentation that stand behind our psychometric and scoring work. Partnering closely with psychometricians and researchers, who will help you grow into the science of educational measurement, you will analyze assessment data, run and validate item and test analyses, safeguard data quality, and communicate results clearly to technical and non-technical audiences alike. Just as important, you will draw out the insights our data holds and tell the story behind them, turning evidence into action that supports the work of educators across the region. In parallel, you will sharpen how the team works, identifying the manual, repetitive steps in our analytic workflows and replacing them with reliable, repeatable routines that make psychometric and scoring processes faster, more consistent, and more reproducible. You will help build, test, and implement the data analytic cycles that sustain our digital-first assessments, partnering across teams to design the workflows and automated routines that keep them dependable and reusable.
