About The Position

The Station Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the station's security team, ensuring the physical security of all company property and assets, and managing security incidents. This role involves monitoring compliance, training staff, preparing reports, and collaborating with various internal and external teams to maintain security standards and policies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years related experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office, especially Excel.
  • Talking, hearing, and using hands to operate computer equipment.
  • Vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Extended sitting or standing and use of standard office equipment may be required.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year industry experience preferred.
  • Professional certification may be required in some areas.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledgeable of warehouse operations and freight/logistics optimization.
  • Excellent planning, time management, collaboration, decision making, organization, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop and document processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, collaborate with internal and external resources, respond to questions from senior management, and manage through conflict with a positive, flexible attitude and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the station’s security team, including contracted guards.
  • Ensure physical security of all property and assets owned by the organization.
  • Monitor and report on physical security compliance, including adherence to TAPA America guidelines.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations to management.
  • Respond to and manage security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
  • Train and develop local security staff, ensuring alignment with established procedures.
  • Prepare reports and analysis for customer and leadership review.
  • Oversee contracted security personnel, ensuring proper reporting and performance.
  • Assist in developing and implementing security procedures and protocols for the site.
  • Collaborate with customer onsite SOC and Corporate Security to maintain compliance with global policies.
  • Work with Corporate IT & Corporate Security to ensure facility security hardware meets global standards.
  • Investigate and report all security incidents at the location.
  • Communicate with law enforcement on security matters as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
