About The Position

A Station Cook with American Dining Creations helps provide an exceptional dining experience by setting up, preparing, and serving menu offerings at a designated station. Stations may include Grill, Pizza, Deli, Salad Bar, Seasonal, and Specialty items. The role involves preparing and serving food to guest specifications, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, and providing friendly, professional service to guests, clients, and team members. Cooks may also operate a point-of-sale system, package takeout orders, and perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Previous hospitality or food service experience.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume, high-quality environment.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and interested in taking on additional roles and responsibilities.
• Dedication to hospitality excellence and providing a great dining experience.
• Ability to cross-train and use skills across different tasks.
• Safety- and detail-oriented.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds unassisted, bend, walk, climb stairs, and stand for scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve menu offerings for designated station(s) according to standards.
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food between workstations, stoves, and refrigerators in accordance with safety standards.
• Serve food and other goods according to guest specifications.
• Store food in designated areas using standard wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
• Maintain temperature logs and production records efficiently.
• Replenish supplies, restock coolers as needed, and take inventory as directed.
• Set up and break down stations; clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and dishes for the designated workstation.
• Follow state and local food production, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Provide excellent service and remain focused on the satisfaction of guests, clients, and team members.
• Listen and communicate in a professional and friendly manner.
• Work efficiently and stay organized.
• Operate a POS system to complete orders and package takeout items as needed.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
