GCU Traditional Campus – Phoenix, AZ: Courses are in-person and on-campus for the Fall 2026 Semester (09/08/2026 - 12/13/2026) Course: Statics This course focus is on the analysis of two- and three-dimensional forces on a system in an equilibrium (static) state. Further, it discusses real world applications for static analyses via simple trusses, frames, machines, and beams. Additional topics covered include properties of areas, second moments, internal forces in beams, laws of friction, and static simulation in Solidworks.
