About The Position

Crowe’s State and Local Tax (SALT) team delivers value by helping clients effectively navigate and manage their state and local income and franchise tax obligations. We are seeking a SALT Senior Manager to join our Lead Tax Services group.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
  • CPA, JD/LLM, or CMI required
  • Minimum of 8 years of tax experience in public accounting with a state and local tax focus
  • Possess strong research, writing skills and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain excellent client relationships
  • Demonstrated ability and desire to perform in a high-energy, dynamic environment

  • Act ethically and with integrity at all times.

Nice To Haves

  • Having some review and supervisory experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, plan and manage client engagements and delivery of client work within state and local income tax.
  • Serve as the main client contact responsible for providing exceptional client service.
  • Manage and develop staff, senior staff and managers, through coaching and training.
  • Build an external network, assist with sales and cross-collaboration efforts and support thought leadership for state and local tax.
  • Assist in transformation efforts for state and local tax.
