As a State and Local Senior Associate, your role involves identifying and implementing tax planning and consulting opportunities for a diverse client base. You will work in a highly interactive team environment, participating in tax planning and consultation, delivering an outstanding client experience, and researching client issues while communicating findings to managers. This role also includes mentoring Staff and interns, contributing to the team's continued success and providing an opportunity to grow skills and contribute to the firm's success.

Requirements

BS in Accounting required
CPA or eligibility to sit for CPA required
Strong time management and organization skills
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in public accounting or corporate/public blend
Ability to grow strong team relationships
Effectively communicate verbally and in writing both internally and externally
Ability to work additional hours as needed
Ability to travel to various client sites

Nice To Haves

Masters in Taxation or LLM is a plus
Income Franchise experience preferred

Responsibilities

Identifying and implementing tax planning and consulting opportunities to a diverse client base
Participate in the tax planning and consultation process for clients, delivering an outstanding client experience
Researching client issues and regularly communicating findings with managers
