About The Position

To increase non-perishable sales of new and existing customers through proper merchandising and plan-o-gram usage. Territory includes: Southern Pines Asheboro Area.

Requirements

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
May require some overnight stays away from home.

Nice To Haves

Four-year degree in business with experience in merchandising, or equivalent experience in retail sales and merchandising.

Responsibilities

Coordinate retail visits for MDI and broker lead teams.
Provide services to retail accounts in areas of sets/resets, end cap programs, displays, cross merchandising, etc.
Plan annual schedules within territory, coordinate team activities, and be accountable for results.
Act as liaison between MDI, broker teams, and retailers.
Coordinate vendor activities to reset non-perishable plan-o-grams and merchandising layouts where applicable.
Coordinate the development and implementation of suggested plan-o-grams for customers.
Maximize POG compliance in each store.
Work closely with vendors and independent store owners to facilitate store events and plan-o-gram implementation.
Communicate to key store associates the benefits of Stars Program and facilitate "ownership" by retailers of the benefits of the program.
Complete Stars Recaps and Reports as required.
Continually sell new and promotional products to our customer.
