About The Position

This role is within the Supply Chain division of Reckitt, focusing on driving operational efficiency to meet scheduled demand while maintaining high safety and quality standards. The Team Captain will oversee the operational aspects of their assigned area, including supervising operators during production shifts and escalating any issues to the team lead. This position requires individuals skilled in multiple areas within their department.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of SAP and Quality Systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain processes.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards.
  • Escalate incidents immediately and support follow-up investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
  • Ensure completion of monthly BSO (Business Support Operations).
  • Ensure strict adherence to quality/GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.
  • Escalate quality issues/deviations immediately and support follow-up investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA.
  • Drive for Right First-Time performance on batch documentation.
  • Ensure full compliance to training SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and OJTs (On-the-Job Training).
  • Ensure production adherence to the production schedule.
  • Be responsible for line OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and waste performance.
  • Follow escalation processes for line stoppages and under-target OEE.
  • Raise waste and OEE improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure hourly updates on OEE tracking as part of the OEE reporting process.
  • Ensure individual training is complete and up to date.
  • Support site employee recognition schemes.
  • Provide feedback on temporary hires through the recruitment process.
  • Support trials and intervention activities during the shift in the area.
