About The Position
As a Southern Star Starlink Technician, you will install and service Starlink satellite internet for homes in rural and underserved communities. You will help customers get online and explain how to use their new service. The role offers a career path from Starlink Technician to Senior Technician and Master Technician, with increased skills, responsibilities, and earning potential. Training and base pay start at $19.00 per hour, with a $0.50 increase after 60 days of employment. After training, employees receive a guaranteed hourly rate of $23.00 per hour through their first nine months. If post-training base pay, bonuses, and commissions do not reach that rate, pay will be increased to meet the guarantee. Compensation also includes commissions and performance bonuses. Paid training and ongoing support are provided. Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge.
- Ability to climb ladders up to 38 feet and work in crawl spaces.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Clear background check, drug screen, and Motor Vehicle Record.
