About The Position

As a Southern Star Starlink Technician, you will install and service Starlink satellite internet for homes in rural and underserved communities. The role includes helping customers get online and explaining how to use their new service. The position offers a career path from Starlink Technician to Senior Technician and Master Technician, with increasing skills, responsibilities, and earning potential.

Training/base pay is $19.00 per hour, with a $0.50 increase after 60 days of employment. After training, employees receive a guaranteed hourly rate of $23.00 through their first nine months. If base pay plus bonuses and commissions do not reach that rate, pay is increased to meet the guarantee. Compensation also includes commissions and performance bonuses. Paid training and ongoing support are provided.

Requirements

• Strong technical knowledge.
• Ability to climb ladders up to 38 feet and work in crawl spaces.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Clear background check, drug screen, and Motor Vehicle Record.
