About The Position

The Starlink Installation Technician visits customers’ homes to install and service DISH equipment and smart home products, troubleshoot problems, and introduce customers to smart home technology. Technicians educate customers on using their technology and offer additional services when helpful. The role involves working independently while staying connected with the team, maintaining a clean work area, and providing a professional customer experience. EchoStar provides paid, step-by-step training on installations, service, smart home technology, and best practices developed by experienced technicians. The position includes a company-provided van, tools, and uniforms.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license; driving a company vehicle to customer sites and regional offices is an essential job function.
Willingness to travel as needed and flexibility to work shifts that may include evenings, weekends, or holidays.
Ability to climb ladders up to 40 feet.
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
Must meet and maintain a 335-pound weight limit.
Customer focus and ability to build trust and create a positive customer experience.
Problem-solving ability to address a variety of challenges on the spot.
Determination to work in tight spaces and in all kinds of weather.
Adaptability to handle changes and unexpected tasks.
Successful completion of a pre-employment screen, including a drug test, and an acceptable driving record.
