About The Position

The Dr. Angelo and Alberta Anaclerio Learning and Assessment Center (ALAC), part of the College of Medicine, is hiring Standardized Patients to support healthcare education. Standardized Patients portray different individuals, behaviors, emotions, and medical symptoms in simulated medical encounters, helping health professions students develop clinical and interpersonal skills. Standardized Patients are interviewed and examined by students and provide evaluations of student performance using standards supplied by faculty. SP Educators teach participants about patients, medical conditions, and performance techniques. Healthcare, acting, and teaching experience are advantageous but not required. The role requires punctuality, reliability, and collaboration with the ALAC team, other Standardized Patients, and students. This is a part-time, as-needed position.
