About The Position

The Stand Manager assumes full responsibility for the location’s growth, profitable operation, and preservation of 7 Brew’s culture, mission, and values. The Manager leads the crew, builds genuine connections with team members, and understands the unique needs of the stand. In addition to scheduled shifts, the Manager coaches and trains employees, performs administrative duties, and oversees operations. The position reports to the Regional Manager. The Manager works a flexible schedule that may include early mornings and late nights, visits the stand outside scheduled shifts to coach, observe, train, and complete administrative work, regularly works weekends, and is available to work holidays when necessary. The Manager is also expected to remain available by phone or in person to address stand needs promptly. This is a full-time position paying a $55,000 base salary plus monthly bonuses based on store-level performance.

Requirements

Proven leadership abilities in a fast-paced environment with 40 or more team members.
Beginner-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to create and maintain genuine, uplifting interactions with strangers for up to two minutes at a time.
Ability to work carefully and quickly with hot water, coffee, glass bottles, and dairy products.
Ability to work outside for prolonged periods in varied weather conditions.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand comfortably for hours at a time.
Ability to climb a ladder and use a stepladder.
Ability to stand, sit, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to stock and clean the stand.
Ability to walk safely between and around cars in the drive-thru line.
Ability to use a utility knife safely.
Ability to quickly and cleanly operate any position in the stand during peak hours while maintaining awareness of shift operations.
Ability to address operational, procedural, or cultural issues assertively and graciously, including with friends.
Ability to adapt to problems and implement solutions in stressful situations.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Ability to lead and direct people with multiple personality types under pressure.
Availability for a flexible schedule that may include 5 a.m. starts and 11:30 p.m. finishes, regular weekends, and holidays when necessary.
Availability outside scheduled shifts to coach, observe, train, perform administrative duties, and promptly address stand needs.

Responsibilities

Be proficient in all Brewista and Shift Lead duties and skill sets.
Maintain excellent wait times, cleanliness, and customer interactions through training, coaching, and encouragement.
Provide regular feedback to team members on their strengths and areas for growth.
Create weekly shift schedules based on crew needs and availability while controlling labor costs and supporting quick wait times and short lines.
Track and order inventory, small wares, parts, and equipment; control cost of goods sold by eliminating waste and counting accurately.
Ensure appropriate cash handling, deposits, and change for the stand.
Facilitate team bonding and development through regular meetings and events for Shift Leads and Brewistas, in one-on-one and group settings.
Take ownership of solutions, resolving problems directly or involving an approved partner or vendor.
Ensure the crew understands and meets health requirements.
Develop new leaders for potential future roles, regardless of current or future staffing needs.
Promptly implement and communicate directives from upper management.
Delegate tasks thoughtfully to the leadership team and Brewistas to support efficiency and employee development.
Visit the stand outside scheduled shifts to coach, observe, train, and perform administrative duties.
Remain available by phone or in person to promptly address stand needs.
