About The Position
G&W Products is seeking a safety-minded, dependable Stamping Set-Up Operator for its Fairfield, Ohio facility. The role sets up stamping presses and feeder systems, operates equipment safely and effectively, and supports a positive, team-oriented production environment. The operator also instructs other operators in safe press operation and die safety while carrying out stamping duties.
Requirements
- Prior set-up and stamping press operator experience.
- At least 2 years of working knowledge of press operation, die safety, and production procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions, communicate clearly, and train operators on safe work practices.
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Dependable, team-oriented approach and willingness to support production needs.
Responsibilities
- Set up stamping presses and feeder systems for safe, efficient production.
- Operate stamping equipment in accordance with established safety and operating procedures.
- Instruct operators on safe press operation and die safety.
- Perform stamping operator duties as needed.
- Promote teamwork and maintain a positive, can-do attitude.
- Identify and communicate opportunities to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
