About The Position

G & W Products is a contract metal manufacturing and fabrication company founded in 1968, with 190,000 square feet of manufacturing space across three locations in Fairfield, Ohio. The company provides metal stamping, laser cutting, fabrication, manual and robotic welding, tool and die work, powder coating, and assembly services to industries including construction, transportation, energy, and defense. The Stamping Set-Up Operator sets up stamping presses and feeder systems, operates equipment safely and effectively, and supports a positive, team-oriented work environment. The role also instructs operators in safe press operation and die safety while performing required stamping duties. G&W Products seeks a safety-minded, dependable team member who takes pride in efficient setups and quality work and helps the team succeed.

Requirements

Prior setup and stamping press operator experience.
At least 2 years of working knowledge of press operation, die safety, and production procedures.
Ability to follow instructions, communicate clearly, and train operators on safe work practices.
Strong attention to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Dependable, team-oriented approach and willingness to support production needs.

Responsibilities

Set up stamping presses and feeder systems for safe, efficient production.
Operate stamping equipment according to established safety and operating procedures.
Instruct operators on safe press operation and die safety.
Perform stamping operator duties as needed.
Promote teamwork and maintain a positive, can-do attitude.
Identify and communicate opportunities to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
Perform other duties as assigned.
