This role requires the ability to independently and efficiently set up and maintain process controls on equipment to meet customer specifications. The technician will be responsible for the operation and troubleshooting of equipment, optimizing machine processes by reducing scrap, cycle times, and changeover times. This position also involves coordinating manufacturing activities to ensure good production and quality, using part weights and metals data for process improvement, and performing start-up and shut-down procedures on presses. The role includes testing installed equipment, compiling and documenting production data, and communicating issues with relevant departments. Additionally, the technician will perform end-of-arm setup and modifications for robots, oversee in-house tooling and material evaluations, set up injection molds, and perform general housekeeping duties. Maintaining compliance with ISO/TS16949:2002, ISO14001:2004, and OSHA standards is also a key responsibility.
