About The Position

Toledo Tool & Die is adding a Stamping Process Technician to their team to support continued growth. This is a full-time position based in Pioneer, Ohio. The Die Setter is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining stamping dies in mechanical and/or hydraulic presses to ensure efficient production runs and high-quality parts. This role plays a key part in minimizing downtime and ensuring that tooling is aligned, secured, and functioning properly.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in manufacturing or tooling preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience setting dies in a metal stamping environment preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of tooling and press operations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job layouts, and setup sheets.
Familiar with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Forklift and crane certification a plus (or willing to obtain).
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
Identified candidates must be able to work overtime (daily, weekends and holidays).

Responsibilities

Install, align, and secure dies in stamping presses per production schedule and job specifications.
Set up tooling and make necessary die adjustments to ensure proper operation and product quality.
Perform die changes quickly and accurately to reduce machine downtime.
Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment.
Troubleshoot die and press issues during production runs and escalate complex problems as needed.
Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Accurately complete die setup and production documentation.
Assist with press operators and team members as necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
