About The Position

STRATTEC Security Corporation supplies access and security systems to the automotive market and seeks a Stamping and Milling Technician II to support its manufacturing operations. The role involves setting up and adjusting assigned equipment, troubleshooting issues, maintaining quality, and providing training and work direction as required. The technician may rotate among assigned machines and perform routine maintenance and other miscellaneous duties.

Requirements

Computer skills.

Reading skills.
Math skills.
Must pass a setup test.
Must hold or pass the STRATTEC operators drivers license.

Responsibilities

Set up assigned equipment, troubleshoot issues, and make corrective adjustments.
Train others and provide work direction as required.
Adjust or correct existing setups.
Complete routine maintenance as required.
Perform first-piece and last-piece quality inspections.
Rotate among various assigned machines as required.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Complete SPC charting and QS-9000 inspection requirements.
Change or sharpen tools to maintain work quality.
Make repairs according to specifications.
Perform other miscellaneous duties as required.
