About The Position

The Staging Operator coordinates and prepares materials and components for production, ensuring they are organized and ready for use. The role involves installing final parts on power cabinets, staging materials for final packaging, assembling pallets, verifying component accuracy, monitoring inventory, and maintaining a safe, orderly work area. The position is on-site in Aurora, Ohio.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic knowledge of standard hand tools, such as drills, wrenches, and screwdrivers.
• Basic computer skills, including use of a web browser and email.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and to bend, squat, kneel, or climb a stepladder.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in staging, material handling, or warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and types of materials or components.
• Technical or trade school education.

Responsibilities

• Follow 3D models to install final parts, such as cover panels and labels, on power cabinets.
• Use standard hand tools, including drills, wrenches, and screwdrivers, to complete assigned tasks.
• Sort and stage material for the final packaging station.
• Assemble wood pallets as required.
• Verify received materials and components against provided specifications.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized staging area.
• Assist with other material-handling and inventory-control tasks as needed.
