About The Position

Rio Tinto is seeking an Administrative Intern for a 4-month (Sept-Dec) or 8-month (Sept-Apr) internship at their Rio Tinto Iron and Titanium (RTFT) plant in Sorel-Tracy. The Customer Service Intern will support the daily execution of Order-to-Cash (CTC) activities for RTFT products. The role focuses on administrative, coordination, and data management tasks to ensure efficient order processing, accurate documentation, and smooth communication between teams and customers. This position offers hands-on experience in a dynamic operational environment involving sales, logistics, and finance.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Must have the right to work in Canada.
High regard for safety.
Leadership skills, a desire to learn, and readiness to take on challenges.
Must be returning to studies after the internship or completing a credited final study internship.
Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Strong interest in customer service, logistics, or business operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Office suite.
Experience with Power BI is an asset.
Comfortable with heavy industry and plant environments.
Flexibility and autonomy.
Good communication skills and a strength in teamwork.
