About The Position

The intern will join the Sanimax engineering team in Charny and will work alongside process engineers in a complex industrial environment involving multiple transformation processes. Their mandate will be to support engineers in the optimization and continuous improvement of operations. This internship, offered in Fall 2026, is strongly technically focused and will allow practical application of knowledge in separation processes, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.
Requirements
- Be a student in a Bachelor's program in Chemical Engineering or Biotechnology.
- Have completed a minimum of two university years.
- Have completed at least one internship in an industrial or production environment.
Responsibilities
- Learn and understand the different transformation processes of the plant.
- Participate in various optimization and process improvement projects, including the development of test plans, data collection, data analysis, and report writing.
- Conduct tests directly on the transformation processes and equipment.
- Contribute to the selection of equipment (pumps, piping, materials, measuring instruments).
- Perform fluid mechanics calculations.
- Conduct technical analyses, identify problems, and propose solutions.
- Participate in the execution and monitoring of work during project execution phases.
