About The Position

The Staffing Coordinator serves as the primary steward of the flexible workforce experience, helping team members in seasonal roles feel a strong sense of belonging and connection. This role blends workforce operations, relationship management, and culture-building by coordinating engagement events, designing practical tools and resources, checking in regularly with team members, executing seasonal staffing agreements, and ensuring accurate, timely payroll approval. The Staffing Coordinator also supports seasonal team members transitioning to full-time, part-time, per-diem, or future seasonal contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 2 years of experience in workforce coordination, human resources, staffing, or a related people-focused role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams, and comfort learning HR and payroll systems.
  • Working knowledge of wage-and-hour compliance and payroll best practices.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to maintain accurate payroll and workforce data.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a changing staffing environment.
  • Ability to coordinate engagement activities, develop practical resources, and support team member transitions.
  • Ability to collaborate with People & Talent, Finance, and operational leaders while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Support team members transitioning into part-time, per-diem, seasonal, or flexible work arrangements, ensuring a smooth, informed, and positive experience.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for questions related to employment status, scheduling, benefits impacts, opportunities, and program resources.
  • Lead engagement efforts, including check-ins, appreciation events, recognition moments, virtual meet-ups, and other connection-building activities.
  • Gather team member feedback through rounding, surveys, and ongoing communication and provide feedback to InterHealth leadership to improve the experience.
  • Develop and maintain practical tools, communications, checklists, trackers, onboarding resources, and self-service materials for team members and leaders.
  • Execute seasonal and short-term staffing agreements, including start and end dates, terms, renewals, documentation, and alignment with demand cycles.
  • Review and approve payroll, time records, exceptions, and contract terms to ensure accuracy, compliance, audit readiness, and timely processing.
  • Partner with People & Talent, Finance, and operational leaders to maintain data integrity, monitor utilization, track engagement and retention metrics, and support continuous program improvement at the direction of InterHealth leadership.
