About The Position

Lyngblomsten Care Center has an opening for a Full-Time Staffing Coordinator. Lyngblomsten is looking for a Staffing Coordinator to help us continue on our successful path. Requirements

Outstanding communication skills, oral and written.
Ability to maintain staffing patterns within budget.
Ability and willingness to assume responsibilities and work as a member of the nursing office team.
Ability to deal with staff requests and scheduling problems in a positive manner.

Nice To Haves

1 year of staffing/scheduling experience in long term care strongly preferred.
Nursing background preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide staffing patterns to ensure overall continuity of resident cares within the allocated nursing budgeted hours.
Generate bi-monthly nursing staff schedules and new nursing employee schedules during their orientation period.
Ensure adequate daily staffing.
Track floating holiday and sick time paid per personnel policy.
Maintain file of staffing request for time off, paid time for absences, leaves of absences and FMLA.
Verify staff hours daily and biweekly for payroll.
Other duties as assigned.
