About The Position

MercyOne is seeking a part-time Staffing Coordinator. The coordinator operates the automated staffing and scheduling system and maintains database and system integrity. The role coordinates staffing and determines resource allocation for designated patient care areas based on the standards and philosophies of Genesis Medical Center. The position involves interaction with a variety of people inside or outside the organization. Communications are of moderate difficulty and sensitivity and may involve detailed, lengthy exchanges of information. The role requires a moderate amount of interpersonal skills and involves dealing with moderately complicated problem situations or stressful encounters. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a holiday rotation, on the evening shift. Requirements

High school graduation or equivalent.
Word processing skills at a minimum of 40 words per minute.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Interpersonal skills to handle moderately difficult and sensitive communications, detailed information exchanges, complicated problem situations, and stressful encounters.
