About The Position
MercyOne is seeking a part-time Staffing Coordinator. The role operates the automated staffing and scheduling system and maintains database and system integrity. It coordinates staffing and determines resource allocation for designated patient care areas according to the standards and philosophies of Genesis Medical Center. The position interacts with people inside and outside the organization, including exchanges of detailed information and handling moderately complicated problems or stressful encounters. The schedule is Monday through Friday with a holiday rotation, on the evening shift.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent.
- Word-processing skills with a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.
- Medical terminology.
- Interpersonal skills to communicate with a variety of people and handle moderately complicated problem situations or stressful encounters.
