About The Position

The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the nursing department schedule. This role manages the shift master scheduling software system, adjusting staffing levels based on census fluctuations, and tracking call-ins and pre-planned leaves of absences to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts. This position is a key contributor and a member of the Nursing Management Team, and reports directly to the CNO.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED REQUIRED
  • Previous experience with scheduling 150+ employees
