About The Position

Grand Canyon University (GCU) is seeking student workers to support the mission of Grand Canyon University through GCU's Havoc House restaurant in the GCU Arena. This application will submit your information to multiple jobs at the Havoc House. If selected for an interview, you will discuss available positions with the manager to find the best fit. Possible positions include: Wait Staff, Bussers, Hosts, Expeditors, Line Cooks, Prep Cooks, and Dishwashers.

• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds.
• Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.
• Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
• Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with customers, as well as coworkers, professionally.
• Fast learner who completes required tasks with the highest quality of work.
• Complies with all HACCP policies and procedures.
• Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
• Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
• Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.
• Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
