The role leads complex, high-priority opportunities to improve customer experience and fulfillment-network performance. It uses rigorous analysis to explain changes in customer access, speed, promise, volume, and cost; identify root causes and high-value opportunities; and translate insights into clear recommendations. The role aligns Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Strategy on trade-offs, plans, and accountability, then drives implementation and sustained, measurable results. Success requires strategic thinking, strong supply-chain analytics, executive communication, and influence without direct authority. The Network Performance & Orchestration team explains how Walmart’s fulfillment network is performing and mobilizes the enterprise to improve it. The team identifies drivers of customer access, delivery speed and promise, volume flow, capacity, service, and cost, then translates insights into actions and measurable results. It sets direction for speed execution, evaluates network and asset changes, and strengthens readiness for peak. The team partners across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Finance, Merchandising, Stores, Fulfillment Centers, Last Mile, Transportation, and Strategy to improve customer outcomes while balancing speed, assortment, cost, and operational feasibility.
