About The Position

Vasion is hiring a Staff Technical Account Manager to establish how technical account management is practiced across its Federal customers, including civilian agencies, Department of Defense components, and Federal system integrators and partners. This is a senior post-sales technical leadership role focused on adoption, retention, and expansion, with ownership of the Federal technical account management practice as well as strategic customer accounts. The role sets standards for Federal risk identification and classification, technical planning, service delivery, escalation response, and customer advisory. It develops reusable reference architectures, diagnostics, playbooks, and enablement, and helps other TAMs deliver consistent work. The TAM coordinates with Professional Services, Support, partners, Product, and Engineering to address customer needs, turn recurring issues into systemic corrections, and communicate evidence-based input on roadmap and lifecycle decisions. The position supports customers using Vasion's document, print, and content workflow platform within authorization boundaries, restricted networks, and constrained change windows. It includes advising on compliant adoption across cloud and hybrid architectures, secure print management, smart card and badge-based authentication, segmented networks, and document workflow and capture. The role also engages customer technical executives and Federal partners on high-consequence accounts. The work model is remote, with travel up to 25%. An active or previously held U.S. government security clearance is required.

  • Authoritative expertise in cloud and hybrid architecture, restricted, segmented, and air-gapped environments, and large device fleets.

Responsibilities

  • Define consistent Federal risk signals, risk classifications, and advisory responses for the technical account management practice.
  • Anticipate the effects of product roadmap, release, and compliance changes across Federal customers and advise customers ahead of those changes.
  • Own the Federal technical planning method, including target-state requirements, planning horizons, and forward technical calendars for authorization milestones, impact-level transitions, audits, change freezes, and end-of-life dates.
  • Aggregate customer technical plans and provide Product and Engineering with insight into the Federal installed base to inform roadmap and lifecycle decisions.

  • Define how Federal engagements are structured, delivered, and evidenced against entitlement.
  • Coordinate Professional Services, Support, and partners to maintain consistent delivery quality.
  • Analyze delivery and adoption data to identify retention and adoption risks early.
  • Help Federal customers adopt the products they own within authorization boundaries, including secure print management, smart card and badge authentication, restricted network deployments, and document workflow and capture use cases.
  • Engage technical executives at high-consequence customer accounts and represent Vasion's technical position with Federal partners, integrators, and sponsoring agencies.
  • Create reference architectures, diagnostic assets, playbooks, and enablement materials for repeatable Federal customer work.
