About The Position

Seeking an experienced and motivated Staff Software Engineer with expertise in ABAP on the SAP Payroll platform. The role focuses on optimizing and streamlining payroll processes by providing ongoing support for Employee Central Payroll extensions and integrations using SAP ABAP, Schemas, CPI, and other technologies. The program is in its Hypercare phase and is triaging various issues.

The position provides software engineering support across software development, application integration, application troubleshooting, scripting, and SaaS application configuration. It follows a 4x10 schedule, with every Friday off, and is fully remote.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience with ABAP.
• At least 5 years of experience with SAP SuccessFactors ECP.
• At least 4 years of experience with SAP CPI.
• Substantial experience in SAP ABAP development, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience building integrations in the SAP CPI platform, including Groovy scripting.
• Strong background in SAP Payroll, on-premises and/or Employee Central Payroll.
• Well-rounded knowledge of SAP full life cycle implementations and SAP concepts and capabilities.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of development concepts and the ability to apply them.
• Ability to self-organize and independently work tasks to closure.
• Ability to communicate successfully with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work well on a virtual team.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with JIRA.
• Experience using additional SAP technologies such as FIORI, UI5, BTP, AL11, and ODATA.
• Experience developing web service integrations.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support for Employee Central Payroll extensions and integrations using SAP ABAP, Schemas, CPI, and other technologies.
• Support software development, application integration, application troubleshooting, scripting, and SaaS application configuration.
• Help triage issues during the program’s Hypercare phase.
