About The Position

Bugcrowd is hiring a Staff Full Stack Engineer to lead technical efforts and own system architecture and development across the stack, exercising substantial discretion over technical decisions to achieve business outcomes. The role focuses on external attack surface management technology that builds a picture of a target organization from externally observable information, including domains, hosts, software, people, registrations, and customer-provided documents. The engineer will own the part of the system that turns this information into facts analysts can trust by recording what was observed, what was inferred, the source of each fact, and decisions made by humans. The goal is to create a general framework for passive illumination so that adding a new data source can be accomplished efficiently.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
  • Extensive experience with React and JavaScript web development frameworks; Next.js is preferred.
  • Familiarity with OAuth2, JWT, and other authentication and authorization frameworks.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment platforms such as Vercel, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with ORM frameworks and relational databases such as Prisma, Drizzle, and PostgreSQL.
  • Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Cybersecurity knowledge, including how penetration testing, OSINT, and red teaming work.
  • Active secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic and AI application development.
  • Familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks and agent-based systems.

Responsibilities

  • Create a general framework for passive illumination that makes integrating new data sources efficient.
