About The Position

Bugcrowd is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to lead technical efforts and own system architecture and development across the stack, exercising substantial discretion over technical decisions to achieve business outcomes. The role focuses on building external attack surface management technology that develops an outside-in picture of target organizations, including domains, hosts, software, people, registrations, and customer-provided documents. The engineer will own the system that turns this information into facts analysts can trust by recording what was observed, what was inferred, the source of each fact, and human decisions about it. The goal is to build a general framework for passive illumination so that adding a new data source can be accomplished quickly. The work environment is hybrid, with work from home most of the time and some onsite work. An active Secret security clearance is required.
