About The Position

STR’s Analytics and C2 Division develops advanced analytics technologies to address national security problems. The Signals Exploitation and Tracking (SET) Group applies machine learning, statistics, estimation theory, and information theory to signals exploitation, target tracking, predictive analytics, and system resource management.

As a Software Engineer, you will develop technologies focused on estimation theory, prediction, and system resource management. You will design and implement flexible software solutions, collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams, and deliver solutions to important customer problems. The role is based primarily onsite at STR’s Woburn, Massachusetts office.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility; U.S. citizenship is required by the U.S. government.
• Bachelor’s degree plus two years of experience, a master’s degree, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency writing maintainable, well-documented code and APIs.
• Ability to work and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience using Linux.
• Expertise in C++, Python, and Java.
• Experience with container-based software such as Docker or Kubernetes.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in intelligence or military-related mission areas.
• Experience with microservice architecture and DevOps pipelines.
