About the position
As a Staff Software Engineer on the Infrastructure team at Snorkel AI, you will play a crucial role in improving the developer platform and services for user and data management. Your main responsibilities will include designing and maintaining enterprise features, building automation and effective monitoring for infrastructure, deploying and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with enterprise customers, and participating in on-call responsibilities. With a hybrid work schedule, you will have the opportunity to work both in the Redwood City HQ and remotely. This role requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, 4+ years of experience in distributed systems and cloud-native applications, proficiency in automation and scripting languages, and strong communication and coding skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 4+ years of experience in distributed systems and cloud-native applications
- Proficiency in automation, scripting languages, and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Practical experience with Docker containerization and clustering (Kubernetes/EKS/GKE)
- Strong communication and coding skills
- Proactive and positive attitude
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience (preferred)
- Strong development and debugging skills in Python (preferred)
- Experience implementing CI/CD (e.g. CircleCI) (preferred)
- Familiarity with working with large-scale enterprise software deployments (preferred)
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization best practices and Knowledge of common authentication technologies including OAuth, SAML (preferred)
- Familiar with common security best practices, architecture design and implementation (preferred)
