Our Infrastructure team powers Harmonic's ability to process millions of startup signals in real-time. As we scale, we need to transform our frontend from "it works" to "it works flawlessly." Our infrastructure priorities are reliability, performance, and enabling developers. Reliability means robust error handling, graceful degradation, and resilient core flows. Performance means smooth rendering of large datasets, quick filter responses, and non-blocking data visualizations. Enabling developers means better abstractions and clearer patterns to allow engineers to ship with confidence.

Requirements

• 7+ years building frontend applications at scale.
• Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern build tooling.
• Track record of fixing production performance issues at scale.
• Strong opinions on frontend architecture, backed by real experience shipping.

Nice To Haves

• Worked on discovery systems, search, or recommendation systems (CRM, ATS, or similar), or anything that helps index, structure, and surface data for use.
• Exposure to venture capital, private markets, or company intelligence data.

Responsibilities

• Fix core reliability issues: error boundaries, state management, data consistency.
• Optimize performance: virtualization for large datasets, bundle optimization, render performance.
• Build monitoring and observability to catch issues before users do.
• Establish testing strategies that prevent regressions.
• Create abstractions and patterns that help engineers ship faster without breaking things.
• Drive technical decisions and mentor the team through complex migrations.
