About The Position

Revel is building a new data platform that receives, stores, and serves telemetry from customers’ hardware. The platform helps customers develop and operate hardware more effectively. The Frontend Software Engineer will build browser-based experiences for exploring and analyzing telemetry across timescales ranging from nanoseconds to years, comparing test events, and calculating derived channels. The role involves designing performant visualizations, managing complex application state, and making sophisticated workflows understandable to users. The engineer will learn how hardware engineers explore telemetry, define an intuitive interface that also serves expert users, and ship and iterate on analysis workflows with customers. Work includes building visualization plugins for use cases such as numeric time series, console logs, videos, maps, and custom binary viewers, as well as prototyping and evaluating LLM-assisted analysis workflows. The role works directly with customers to understand needs, demonstrate prototypes, and guide product iteration based on feedback. Revel hires at all experience levels and matches the scope of work to experience.
